How does scoring work?
We use the Delta-E 2000 formula β the industry standard for measuring color difference. A perfect match scores 100. The further off your guess, the lower the score. Total possible: 1000 points.
What happens if I use a hint?
Hints show you the approximate hue and saturation range of the target color. Using a hint reduces your maximum score for that round by 30%.
How are characters selected?
Each game randomly picks 10 characters from our growing database β including both official challenges and user-created ones. Upload your own anime images to add more!
Can I create my own color challenges?
Absolutely! Go to the Create page, upload any anime or cartoon image, paint the target area you want players to guess, and your challenge goes live instantly. No account needed.
What kind of images can I upload?
Any anime, cartoon, or illustrated character image works. Upload a PNG or JPEG, use the brush tool to mark the color area, fill in the character details, and submit. The AI will extract the target color automatically.
